Canyon Fabric - A Moda Fabric Preview!

HAVE YOU MISSED ME?? I've missed you!! It's been a crazy couple of weeks, as I'm sure you know already. I took on sewing THREE new Fall wardrobes  - one for myself, and one for each kid. But before I can really tackle those, I had to wrap up an earlier sewing commitment - that I made to THE Kate Spain of Moda Fabrics!

It's the joy of my sewing career to help promote Kate's fabric lines. I did so last year with her Horizon line:

And again this winter to promote Paradisio:

She is just the sweetest person to work with, and her eye for color and prints has had me hooked from my first child's sewing project ever, when I splurged for her Cuzco line at a local quilt shop. (Ready to see a really baby Kaelyn?? And some really intro level photography?? No shame here, we've grown up together, that girl and I <3)

So when she approached me again this summer to work with her newest line, Canyon, I did this:

"HURRAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!"

"HURRAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!"

I am halfway through my Canyon projects, and just had to stop and share some sneak peeks of the photos I took this week! I worked with the gray colorway for Everett, and just adored how it came out:

Sisboom Ethan Button-up, Terra's Treasures Suburban Tee with Self-Drawn Applique, Willow & Co Kudzu Cargos - each with Kate Spain's new Canyon line for Moda Fabrics

As for the diva herself?? I made the Ash Jumpsuit (Willow & Co) and spiced it up with a floral crown and a whole heck of a lot of fabric flowers from all across the Canyon line:

The rest of these photos have made their way to Ms Kate, to debut where she sees fit. So keep an eye out on her instagram and her blog for some more Canyon eye candy!! She's requested a guest post for the flower headband (CUE MY HAPPY DANCE!!!) so I will of course let you know when that's available as well!

Thanks for taking a moment to enthuse about this project with me :) Have the happiest of weekends! XOXO
